April Bowlby was born in the United States. She's an actor and model. She is best known for playing Kandi and Stacy Barrett, in Drop Dead Diva and Titans as well as Doom Patrol. April Michelle Bowlby (born April Michelle Bowlby) is an American actor who is best known for playing Stacy Barrett in Drop Dead Diva and Kandi the TV sitcom Two and a Half Men. She started her career with modelling before going on to films and TV shows. For CSI: Crime Scene Investigation Her first appearance on TV was in a scene in the background as an extra. She soon bagged the breakthrough character of Kandi as Kandi in Two and a Half Men. Bowlby's character on screen as Stacy Barrett on the series Drop Dead Diva earned her recognition around the world. She played the regular role of Rita Farr/Elastigirl for the American webseries Titans. A spin-off from the show Doom Patrol will see her reprising the character. Bowlby is also well-known by her TV appearances in Sands of Oblivion (a TV film) and The Wrong Daughter. In addition to All Roads Lead Home she appeared in The Slammin Salmon, From Prada to Nada as well as other films. Bowlby was born in Manteca California when she was a young girl and went to East Union High School. She first studied French and Ballet in Moorpark College. Then she determined to study acting. Following her studies in drama under Ivana Chubb, she got an important role (Kandi on Two and a Half Men) just a few months after making her Hollywood debut. Bowlby's TV roles include CSI as Kaitlin rackish, in which she portrayed Kaitlin rackish in 2004, CSI: NY as well as CSI: NY in which she played Jenny Lee in 5, Freddie: Sydney as Sydney in 5 and How I Met Your Mother: Meg. Bowlby has recently played the character in the role of Natasha as a twelve year old girl in the film All Roads Lead Home. The 2007 movie is about a young girl who lost her mother following an accident in the car. Bowlby will be in the 2008 comedic movie The Slammin Salmon as Mia. Los Angeles is her home. Naturally red hair and blue eyes. She is not married, and she doesn't have children.
