Ellie Goulding
Ellie's (n e Elena Jane Goulding 30 December, 1986 in Hereford England) was a English Singer-Songwriter. Ellie Goulding's infectious electronic sound rapidly pushed her into the top charts after she caught the attention of the public in the year 2010. She was able to accomplish this through the singles "Starry Eyed" as well as "Guns and Horses". Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop. Goulding has been at the cutting edge as are Kate Bush and Imogen Sheap of contemporary mainstream music as well as independent arty pop. Her soprano voice and talent for writing emotional songs is what makes her distinct. Polydor Records, a major music label, chose to sign Goulding and was preparations to release her debut album.
